Experian’s B.A.L.L. for Life™ (Be A Legacy Leader) program is committed to raising credit awareness and providing financial resources for diverse communities and the next generation. For the National Urban League’s 2026 Community and Family Day, Experian was looking to take the program to the next level by including an interactive video LED wall element to their established basketball activation.
The original ask was to create an LED wall that served video content on a loop that would react to a trigger event which would cause a different piece of content to play. During the initial conversations, that additional piece of content wasn’t clearly defined. Various iterations included adding a forward-facing camera to capture video of the attendee to be played in a sort of instant replay or triggering a whole new animation sequence. During the proof-of-concept testing phase, we actually built out the camera prototype before the client opted for a preloaded animated sequence incorporating various phrases such as “Swish” and “Great Shot.”
The initial concept also called for two separate stand-alone LED wall/basket combos; however, budget constraints and the desire for a smaller footprint led to the final design of a back-to-back LED wall 2.5 meters wide by 5 meters tall. The final build would also house all of the power, audio, and video components, which forced some rather ingenious engineering to get everything to fit within the structure that was only about two feet deep.
Elite didn’t just provide a solution; we created an unforgettable moment, and Experian’s booth was the talk of the show. From the imposing back-to-back LED wall structure that towered over the hall at over 16 feet high to the constant and uninterrupted (unless a basket was made) video streams on those walls, Experian delivered an experience that matched their reputation as a major consumer credit reporting company.
